Writer to Writer by Cecil Murphy. This book covers almost every aspect of writing and breaks it into bite size pieces. If one reads a page a day their writing will improve.

Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers conference. It’s like writers heaven on earth.

I like the Blue Ridge Writers blog, Almost an Author, and The Write Conversation. Jerry’s Guild.
Who is your writing mentor/inspiration? Why?
Jerry Jenkins of Jerry’s Guild has so many resources at my fingertips. He covers all aspects of writing and personally answers questions.
What’s the worst writing advice you’ve ever received? Why was it bad?
Give up, you can’t write well. It was bad advice because anyone can learn to write well if they work hard and learn the craft.
What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever received?
Grow thick skin. Rejection is inevitable in the writing world.
What would you say is the best writing tip for new authors?
Expect rejection and keep learning the craft.
What is your best self-editing tip or advice?
Listen to your writing. Word and other programs have this tool.

Keep God first in your writing. All else will fall into place.
